Welcome to Lulu Island!

After a Dh15 ($4) ten-minute ferry trip, a bus or electric toy train circumnavigates the island dropping and collecting people along the way. There are two stretches of beach on the north and south shores. Apart from a couple of cafes and artificial lakes, the rest of the island is rough terrain. Good fun nevertheless.

Will all this be developed? Looks like it would be pretty easy to start building, not a lot to clear away here. What a beautiful blue sky, the sky there is always so amazing!

We have a Lulu Island in Canada too - I used to live there. It's in the Fraser River and is in a suburb of Vancouver called Richmond. I enjoy your photos of Abu Dhabi - it looks like a fantastic place and your photos are stunning. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
