Contemporary Terracotta Warriors

 
Thanks to Jing from Shanghai (see comments) I've found out these are by the artist Yue Minjun and were commissioned to promote the new Guggenheim Foundation, which opens in Abu Dhabi 2012.

Ha ha ha...now that I saw my posting above, I realized today was not my first visit to your blog (as I had assumed earlier!). Glad to be back and I really enjoy your photos!
