Knock, Knock!

Spotted this unusual door on a recent trip to Madinat Zayed, in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate (also known as Al Gharbia). Apart from the obvious coffee pots you can also find a pair of falcons (the UAE coat of arms) and some traditional perfume bottles. Come back tomorrow and I'll show next door's door!

Awesome picture! How's the coffee in the UAE? I'm brand new to City Daily Photo; I just started Eagan DailyPhoto. Greetings from Minnesota, USA!

Nice door

I recognize an anti-American door when I see one! Very easy to keep out the Yanks, just open the skinny door only and require that everyone be thin enough to pass thru it or be turned away! LOL

Those bottles remind me of the intro to "I Dream of Jeannie".

Hi Leif and Diba - Welcome to the City Daily Photo Family. Thanks for dropping-in and commenting.

San Diego Farmgirl - Nice idea to keep fat Americans out (although Emiratis can also be BIG).

I knew I'd seen those perfume bottles somewhere b4 - Well spotted.
