The Prehistoric City of Bedrock

 
...and this is where I found my dinosaur/goat - a wind eroded rock formation in the middle of the desert.

Lovely...reminds me of formations at Anza Borrego Desert southward from LA. Here is a recent shot of desert by Palmdale - http://palosverdesdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2009/09/saddleback-butte-state-park-antelope.html (you show me yours, I'll show you mine...;)

This is fantastic, and the details are so clear. It makes me feel happy that there are so many unusual natural formations on the Earth. Thanks for showing us a very striking one.
