The Lion King

Next stop - Dubai Zoo, which is apparently the oldest in the Arabian Peninsula. Built in 1967, it's located in Jumeirah. It's not a big zoo and the animals are kept in poor, cramped conditions except when they let them out to play, like you can see here - How cool is that!

Well, I'd be lyin' if I said that wasn't cute!

The problem with lyin' is it often gets you in deeper trouble. The trouble with lions is, that like kids, they can become a real pain as they get older!

I am resisting the temptation to baby-talk, that wion is sho cute.

I hope they let them out often.

By the way, just want you to know, your blog refreshes me, always.

The lions are wonderful animals, and this baby lion is cute! But they arent born to be in jail....

They are ... "Born free, as free as the grass grow!"
