Welcome to Dubai!

I'm in Dubai (150km from Abu Dhabi) for a couple of weeks of rest and recreation and thought you'd like to come with me. First stop is shopping destination Ibn Battuta Mall, which is themed around the travels of renowned 14th century Arabian explorer, Ibn Battuta.

To think, I've never heard of this explorer, only chaps like Sir Walter Raleigh.

What an interesting mall. I'm guessing this explorer did a lot of Asian travel.

Wow - that's quite a huge, red, Chinese looking space!

My comment is similar to Leif's. I would have thought that, given this color, the mall was in China.
