Van Lierde Wins Abu Dhabi Triathlon 2011

 

Belgium's Frederik Van Lierde winning the men's race at the 2011 Abu Dhabi International Triathlon and picking up a cool $50,000 USD first prize in the process. It was a hot day in Abu Dhabi which made the 3km swim, 200km cycle and a 20km run particularly grueling for the 1500 competitors - Even I was tired just taking the photos!
