Tiara at Burj Marina (Crown Tower)
This alien looking spaceship is in fact the Tiara Burj (meaning "Crown Tower" in English) - a revolving restaurant at Marina Mall which was inaugurated last month and provides a bird's-eye panoramic view of modern Abu Dhabi from a height of 126 mtrs.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but isn't this the one with the faulty fire escape or something? I hope they got it fixed. The view from up there must be fantastic!
Correct! You've got a good memory Hilda. It had been ready to open for 2 years but because there was no fire escape it couldn't. Yet to go up myself as apparently it's $8 for a fruit juice!
