Sleeping Beauties

At midday, the city is littered with labourers taking a siesta. Shade is so scarce that even the most uncomfortable of surfaces makes for an inviting resting place.

I remember one you took of workers in a park, but that was a much more pleasant scene.

If I were one of those men, I'd take a thin, rolled-up mattress and a small pillow to work. To prevent theft, I'd tell a terrible story filled with superstition and fear. hee.

Shade certainly looks scarce. It appears that he covered his eyes with his cell phone. Very interesting pic.

Thanks for commenting everyone and you're right tapirgal, it is a mobile shading his eyes. What improvisation!
