Alien Life Form?

Can anyone help me identify this green critter washed up on the beach at Jebel Ali? Funny answers also acceptable.
UPDATE: According to Wikipedia, it's a blue button (porpita porpita). Blue Buttons are not true jellyfish, but chondrophores and believed to have originated in the late Proterozoic period, some 650-540 million years ago - Awesome!

Well, first of all, it's blue. If you called it blue, instead of green, the answer will come to you. [That rhymed].

Well, it's easy! Someone dressed up late for Halloween, and discarded the wig afterwards! Simple, really.
