All UAE Muslim women wear the hijab, which up until now has traditionally been black. However, brightly coloured hijabs have started appearing in the shops and here's the result - Don't they look great?

That's wonderful! The small spots of bright color and patterns look great against all the black.
I still don't get the *thing* about black. It's dark, it absorbs heat, it's hot.
