Spice for Life
"Cinnamon Girl"
by Neil Young
I wanna live
with a cinnamon girl
I could be happy
the rest of my life
With a cinnamon girl.
A dreamer of pictures
I run in the night
You see us together,
chasing the moonlight,
My cinnamon girl.
Ten silver saxes,
a bass with a bow
The drummer relaxes
and waits between shows
For his cinnamon girl.
A dreamer of pictures
I run in the night
You see us together,
chasing the moonlight,
My cinnamon girl.
Pa sent me money now
I'm gonna make it somehow
I need another chance
You see your baby loves to dance
Yeah...yeah...yeah.

A great spice to add to many things! And a little spice for life!
Cinnamon is good for so many things, lowering sugar is one of them.
I always liked the shape of cinnamon sticks. I always liked the '70s Neal Young and remember the song well. But this one is my fave:
"Tell Me Why"
Sailing heart-ships
thru broken harbors
Out on the waves in the night
Still the searcher
must ride the dark horse
Racing alone in his fright.
Tell me why, tell me why
Is it hard to make
arrangements with yourself,
When you're old enough to repay
but young enough to sell?
Tell me lies later,
come and see me
I'll be around for a while.
I am lonely but you can free me
All in the way that you smile
Tell me why, tell me why
Is it hard to make
arrangements with yourself,
When you're old enough to repay
but young enough to sell?
Tell me why, tell me why
Tell me why, tell me why
...and You are Like a Hurricane...and...now you've got me started. Time to go to iTunes.
I heard him in concert at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in LA - for free (I worked as an usher there) - it was weird to have that sort of crowd in a classical music hall. But a great venue for an more intimate concert.
I like the way as this shot gives me pleasure to my eyes.
Spice!
