The Glasshouse
The latest centerpiece to appear on the Corniche is this giant glasshouse. No idea who owns it or what its purpose is but interesting all the same. If there are any Abu Dhabians out there who can shed some light on the property, please educate the rest of us by leaving a comment.

It's been built by Aldar and the shape of it is supposed to look like the design of an F1 car wing. I think maybe it will be called "The Wing" or something? I think it will be a kind of conferencing facility with meeting rooms and a coffee shop etc.... Funky though eh?

WOW !! well i have been to Abu Dhabi but never had a chance to see this bulding. I have to go to Abu Dhabhi in coming few days. Please i would love to visit it , if any body tell me the exact address of this place. But any excellent post dude.
Well just imagine how would the building look like if the glass would be in silver gray color. it would look more beautiful i think. Isnt it?

But you will find it near the end of the Corniche, almost opposite the fishermans harbour where all the old dows are.
It looks like a descendant of the Russian Pavillion at Expo 67 on Montreal.

Hi, It is owned by Al Dar and it was supposed to be a Formula 1 coffee house, but last thing I heard that the idea was scrapped and now it is just sitting there. It is really nice and the inside was not completed because the project was halted.
